Hooray for us!!!

We started this blog on our honeymoon in beautfiul O'ahu Hawaii!!!

We are currently in a luxury hotel room just 100 yds from a private lagoon and 3 ft from a gecko... we named him "Willy."

We are going to spend much of the day uploading pictures and video of our trip thusfar so that all of you can basque in our glory... (basque vs. bask is an inside joke so if you get the joke let us know in the comment section).

This will be the most we will write with this blog because most of our time will be used soaking up UV rays and yes, we are very tan.

So far on our honeymoon we went to Disneyland and California advernture for two full days where we went on every ride.
In Hawaii we saw a Manta Ray, two sea turtles, humu humu nuku nuku apu'ahas, an eel and much more. We've surfed Waikiki, snorkeled Pipeline and Waimea, chilled on the "hidden beach" alone, went off-roading in our rental jeep (thanks Brooke & Josh for the recommendation), jumped off a cliff into a waterfall filled lagoon, played in Shark's Cove, drove through Jurassic Park & Lost areas, hung with the legendary Ben Kahananui, ate Shrimp at Giovanni's shrimp shack (the van) and had shave ice at Matsumotos. We went to the memorials at Pearl Harbor: Arizona and Missouri, bought a bunch of junk at the swap meet at Aloha Stadium, ate Macadamia nut ice cream, Spent two full days at the Polynesian Cultural Center where we made fish from grass and learned how to milk a coconut (hooray for provident living!). At the PCC we danced onstage at a Lu'au because we were newly weds... it was awesome. We watched the last HORIZONS production of the PCC and hula danced together.
We will be swimming with Sharks soon, taking a helicopter ride over the island, hiking Diamond Head, swim with Dolphins and help birth a whale, snorkel Hanauma Bay, Kayak the island's rivers and take a Catamaran Dining ride along the coast.
